1. Introduction

Welcome to Jolina AI, operated by linamahmoud (the "Seller"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jolina AI website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Jolina AI provides an AI-powered study companion that allows users to upload documents and generate quizzes, summaries, flashcards, and translations. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate, upload, or distribute unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable content;
  • Create deepfakes, impersonate individuals, or generate content intended to deceive or mislead;
  • Generate hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that promotes violence or illegal acts;
  • Attempt to jailbreak, bypass safety filters, or exploit the AI systems;
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to interfere with the Service;
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the Service without authorization;
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others;
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without written permission.

5. AI-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the prompts you submit and how you use AI-generated outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific needs. You should verify outputs before relying on them, especially for academic, professional, or regulated purposes. Jolina AI does not claim ownership of your inputs or outputs, but you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.

We reserve the right to review, filter, remove, or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe may cause harm. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

Jolina AI retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, documentation, designs, logos, and branding. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Jolina AI's trademarks or branding without prior written consent. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting Paddle support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. 9. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, poses a security or fraud risk, or is otherwise harmful to Jolina AI or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOLINA AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO JOLINA AI IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, DEATH, OR PERSONAL INJURY WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jolina AI and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jolina AI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
